Use Your Passion Project to Create Amazing Opportunities For Yourself
A few days ago I shared a video called 3 Ways to Pursue Your Passion Without Starting a Business. The video included multiple paths for you to use your passion project to create amazing opportunities for yourself—without starting a business.
You should check video #1 out if you haven’t yet. It’ll help you think about several ways your can use your passion without needing to own a company. Today’s video shows you how someone took one of those ideas to change his life.
Today I’m going to tell you a story about Remi*.
Remi was frustrated with his career path. He was interning at some high profile places, learning a ton and working tirelessly, as interns do. But, he wasn’t in the field he loved. Even though he was young, he wasn’t seeing a way to change the course of his career.
Why?
Because he wanted to get into an exclusive industry with virtually no contacts and no “formal” experience.
Fast forward to today, Remi is making huge waves in a role at a well-known organization in his industry.
So, how did he do it?
He started a passion project that combined his skills and his passion to get attention from some of the most powerful platforms in the arena. And he didn’t have to start a business to do it.
Today’s video is going to walk you through some of the things that Remi did to get the results he wanted. This is one of many ways that you can use your passion project to create amazing opportunities for yourself, but this is one of my favorite ways—especially if you’re not interested in entrepreneurship.
Make sure you watch the whole video because there’s a surprise challenge waiting for you at the very, very end of the video. It’s a quick challenge, but it could help you get real clarity around your next steps.
